More changes! And also an essay plan...

Dearly beloved,

In the wake of the tragic death of Percy the USB, my essay plan has been lost to the depths of Hades. Or somewhere similar. However, as I'm changing my topic anyway, I'm not overly fussed.

The thing is, I've run into a few minor, gigantic brick walls in finding enough material to support my argument, so I had a chat with Mr Stewart and discussed some possible alternatives. After some debate, he suggested that I compare the Spartan ideal of female beauty with the concept of female beauty that was idolized by the rest of Greece during the Classical period, using the writings of Sappho as evidence of the latter. I was like:

And off I went to see what could be salvaged from my last bout of frantic researching. That is what I am doing now, but I believe I owe you an essay plan, no? Here 'tis.

Paragraph 1: Concept of female beauty in Sparta

Paragraph 2: Concept of female beauty in other parts of Greece

Paragraph 3: Comparisons!! :D We love comparisons. Really.

More later,

Cheerio!
